Carlos Carrion of the Milwaukee Badgers will go down as one of the league's legendary pitchers after his 14-4 win today against the Memphis Express.
"It felt like it was a postseason game, one out at a time," said his manager. "It was something special to see."
The 37-year-old Carrion picked up his 200th career victory at Badger Stadium. He hurled 7 innings, gave up 8 hits and registered 2 strikeouts along with 2 walks.
"I've worked a long time for this," Carrion said. "I can't believe it's really here. It feels great!"
Carrion has gone 200-120 with an ERA of 3.57 in his career, piling up 2062 strikeouts in 2974.1 innings pitched.

 | Friday, September 17th, 2021: Big Day for Finch: Swats 5 Hits
No matter what the Miami Catfish threw at him today, Eldon Finch hit it. He easily handled Catfish pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Express to a 9-2 triumph at Express Field.
He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."
The Miami skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we may just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."
E. Finch singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off S. Daniels in the 9th.
This season Finch has hit at a .287 clip and produced 48 RBIs, 5 home runs and 40 runs scored.
